Being a New Yorker myself, I was touched by your public request for people to remember 9/11 (which I know was not exclusively a New York event). Frankly, I've been trashed out all day; it still hits me, 8 years later, and it just might be the case that it always will. Thank you for encouraging people to reflect on this catastrophe and all its many implications.
