Oregon's Esoterika Lodge Receives Charter

Wbro. William Isabelle reports from the far-flung climes of the northwest that Esoterika Lodge, U.D. A.F. & A.M. of Oregon has received their Charter to work as Esoterika Lodge No. 227. The MWGM of the Grand Lodge of Oregon will Consecrate the Lodge and install their charter officers in July.

The Oregon lodge shares its name with its sister lodge in Washington State, Esoterika Lodge No. 316. Both are Traditional Observance-styled lodges.

Congratulations, brethren!

Can you please explain me what's "Traditional Observance-styled ".

The rituals followed on both sides of the Atlantic are in some cases similar in others very different.

And this expression I'm seeing it for the first time.

  2. Greetings Brethren,

Esoterika Lodge is just that, Esoterika Lodge.

Traditional Observance, is a term relative to those Lodges that style themselves so. However Esoterika Lodge(s) are very different from the T.O. concept that is offered by the Masonic Restoration Foundation as a model for subscribing Lodges.

Esoterika Lodge is not a traditional observance Lodge, it is however a Lodge that observes Masonic traditions such as education and degree proficiency and readily encourages it's members to become active mentors and leaders in Masonry.

Thank you WB Hodapp for sharing the good news about Esoterika Lodge No. 227, AF&AM of Oregon, we are of course very proud of our Oregon Brothers.

    Be well Brothers.

    Sincerely & Fraternally,
