Your comments will not appear immediately because I am forced to laboriously screen every post. I'm constantly bombarded with spam. What is this about? Not the image--the take-off of Crowley is obvious--but how does this figure in to what would seem to be comic book art? And who is Ted Bastien?
ReplyDeleteTed Bastien is a Canadian comic artist, and a brother Mason. His online comic Bugsport tells the tale of a backwater town in Maine that is the resettlement home of the aliens aboard the Roswell UFO crash and others who followed. In Bugsport, Maine, the majority of the citizens are "greys," many of whom belong to the local Masonic lodge.
ReplyDeleteAnd for classic car fans, the Studebaker never died in Bugsport. They make flying cars these days.

Start at the beginning. Look carefully as the strip progresses for Masonic symbolism.
I want that hat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to Bugsport. I'm going through the strip archives now. Funny stuff.
