California Masons March in Unity

From the Grand Lodge of California website:

Equality on all levels – including social, economic, cultural, religious, and racial – is a foundational tenet of Freemasonry. That’s why on January 18, members and leaders from the Grand Lodge of California and Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of California marched together in communities statewide to help celebrate the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
California Grand Master M. David Perry marched in the Kingdom Day Parade in Los Angeles at the invitation of Most Worshipful Donald M. Ware, M.D. of Prince Hall.
“We joined together to Honor Martin Luther King, not as California Masons and Prince Hall Masons, but as Masons,” Perry says. “While his life was cut far too short, the lessons that he taught live on, and his legacy of diversity, awareness and equality, service and love still inspire us today.”
