The St. John's Masonic Lodge and theatre in New Bern, North Carolina celebrated its 200th anniversary this weekend, and
got a nice mention on the TV news. According to the story, it took eight years to build from 1801 to 1809 and was originally called the Masonic Opera House. It served time as both a Confederate arsenal, and later, a Union hospital during the Civil War
