I think it is a very worthwhile effort that can help re-establish old connections in American Masonic, and civic, history between the Craft and higher education. And the effort besides tapping into American traditions and roots will likely do new things. It is always a new day. <br /><br />Another "model" to look at in the interaction of higher education and Freemasonry can be cited in California in Lodge Liberal Arts, a lodge of the Grand Lodge of California. http://www.liberalarts677.com/ <br /><br />This lodge has a long history of interaction with UCLA since the inception of that university.
