It is however the legacy of the hidden teachings of the Templar Houses monitored by the Jesuits which allowed the hidden Templars to meet and keep the spirit alive. The word Franc Maison means just that. British security measures forbade citizens to belong to any foreign constituted body and urged them to join locally vetted ones instead - hence all the affiliation the Masons claim they have with various Orders of Chivalry like the Templars and Hospitallers among others. The Templars went public at Versailles after centuries of undercover existence in 1705 and aristocratic correspondence can be found in the national archives. They chose to be diplomatic and chose the name of Knights of the Orient. The heirs of the Templar Houses were the members of the Order of the Orient and it still exists today with its own schismatic body. What was transmitted was knowledge and had nothing to do subsequently with the Templar transmissions which can be read in the annals of the Cistercian Order to this day. In fact British Masons claim that they are the Freemasons of France but they have nothing to do with British Freemasonry which is something totally different in all respects. orionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09847230248122938292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25683662.post-80366239328974728322016-03-21T19:04:59.803-04:002016-03-21T19:04:59.803-04:00Ivan Lambert
