Tuesday Nov. 4: Anniversary of Washington's Initiation

“Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company."
—G. Washington

Tuesday will be the 256th anniversary of George Washington’s initiation as a Freemason.

Washington was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on November 4, 1752 in Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4, Fredericksburg, Virginia, with four other brethren.

  2. Chris,
Finally!!! A fairly recent picture for your profile!!!

Wait let me expand the detail in the background….oh sure, Mr. Big-shot writes the fastest selling “For Dummies” book ever then rubs it in by posting a picture of himself during his world wide victory lap. Must be nice to be so able to work for and receive the fruits of a slightly askew if not unshaven bibliophile.

London Bridge? What, no trip to Rosalyn? St Peter’s Square still tore up?

Hope you gave the Queen our best…
